Job Purpose: Coordinate and manage the daily administration and operations of an assigned practice within Stamps Health Services (SHS), in accordance with SHS, Institute and state/federal regulatory requirements ensuring compliance.
Lead and coordinate activities related to the daily operations of assigned practice within Stamps Health Services (SHS), in accordance with SHS, Institute and state/federal regulatory requirements.
Monitor and ensure efficient patient scheduling ensuring compliance with SHS, Institute and state/federal regulatory requirements.
Manage office system implementation, equipment procurement, and other operations changes as necessary.
Assess and evaluate performance measures and provide recommendations for technology integration to improve and/or maintain efficiency and cost effectiveness.
Develop and implement standardized office policies and procedures to improve and/or maintain efficiency and cost effectiveness.
Provide care to patients, and directly assist providers in treating patients.
Perform other related duties as assigned.
Education: Technical Diploma, Associate Degree, or two years college coursework
Work Experience: Two to three years job related experience
Certifications: Certified Medical Assistant, BCLS
Ability to work in an office environment; ability to multi-task; interact and communicate with diverse populations; and maintain composure in emergency situations
Preferred Education: Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Health Services or related field
Preferred Work Experience: Women's Health experience. Front and Back medical office experience. College Health experience
Preferred Certifications: N/A

Stamps Health Services is an outpatient ambulatory care center that provides health care and health education to students and their spouses/domestic partners. The center is located in a state-of-the-art, 40,000-square-foot facility within the Joseph Brown Whitehead Building (740 Ferst Drive), next to the Campus Recreation Center. Our mission is to promote the health and well-being of the Georgia Tech community by leading public health initiatives, developing health education and health promotion activities, providing training, research and teaching for new health professionals, providing direct patient care to students, faculty, staff, and the larger campus community, and to provide health services to visitors and guests receiving educational and related services at Georgia Tech and other health services the Senior Director of the SHS deems supportive of Georgia Tech's educational mission.
