The Practice Coordinator is responsible for the overall operational duties for the routine business and clinical functions through administrative and clinical staff, including front desk, medical records, nursing, and any ancillary services to ensure maximum utilization of resources and the efficient delivery of services of his/her assigned practice(s).# This position also involves allocating and assigning schedules and duties to office employees, and monitoring all the medical office components to guarantee St. Vincent Medical Group meets its objectives. # Knowledge


Skills:


Knowledge of organizational policies, procedures, systems and objectives. Knowledge of health care administration systems. Knowledge of governmental regulations and compliance requirements. Ability to use various computer systems and applications. Ability to plan, organize and supervise. Ability to exercise initiative, sound judgment and problem-solving techniques in the decision-making process. Ability to develop and maintain effective relationships with medical and administrative staff, patients and the public. Ability to communicate clearly. Qualifications:A high school diploma or GED is required.# Graduate from a recognized training facility for medical assistants and experience in healthcare office management are required.# Three years# work and supervisory experience in a medical office and effective working knowledge of healthcare financial management, third party reimbursement issues, patient flow and office management.# CPR certification required.
