PRACTICE ADMINISTRATOR | HEALTHCARE
We are seeking a professional, detail-oriented individual who enjoys a fast-paced challenging work environment. A successful candidate will provide assistance to the Medical Directors, Assistant Medical Directors, Shareholders, Partners and PSR Management to ensure and maintain successful practice operations. Candidate will respond to needs and directions of physician group or groups regarding services which assure the successful operation of the organization.
Location: Cincinnati, OH
Position reports to: Executive Vice President
Provide primary site based practice support acting as day to day liaison with multiple client providers
Serve as liaison between client and multiple support staff at PSR (HR, Finance, Payroll, Operations, IT)
Participate in monthly meetings with physicians to review financial performance and KPI i.e., Net Revenue, Operating Expenses, RVU's, Volume Metrics, etc.
Maintain accurate monthly meeting minutes
Verify tasks assigned to / assumed by practice providers. Offer to assist with completion where applicable. Assist with completion monitoring and accountability
Monitor scheduling and provider schedules
Provide limited scope ad hoc analytics
Verify timing and amounts of client retirement funding in collaboration with PSR
Attend daily, weekly and monthly meetings to discuss practice performance
Coordinate accounts payable (AP) and payment of outside invoices in conjunction with PSR staff
Work with Human Resources for employee orientations, benefits enrollment and payroll in collaboration with on-site EA
Coordinate recruiting, hiring and on-boarding/termination processes working with client and PSR staff
Review monthly financial variance reports
Proficient in Microsoft Office
HIPAA compliance training
Monitor client specific programs such as associate MD status and employee longevity programs
Facilitate the establishment of new service lines
Monitor billing complaints/resolutions
Manage office staff
Other duties as assigned.
Compliance with Intermedix policies
4-5 years healthcare, organizational management or related experience
4 year Degree required and MBA/MHA preferred
Ability to safely and successfully perform essential job functions consistent with the ADA, FMLA and other federal, state and local standards, including meeting qualitative and/or quantitative productivity standards.
Skills/ Knowledge Requirements:
Knowledge of basic medical practices, medical terminology, physician scheduling, patient relations, and patient billing
Excellent interpersonal, communication, facilitation, and professional diplomacy skills
Strong attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple priorities while meeting deadlines
Ability to foster working relationships with physicians, management and associated businesses
Ability to respond to common inquiries or complaints from client, hospital or patients
Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions
Possess strong communication skills to clearly and effectively communicate with physicians, management and hospital staff
Knowledgeable about EMR; computers; software
Highly organized with developed time management skills
Typical conditions of an office environment.
Evening and weekend work may be required to meet client demands. May travel to other ED facilities.
