They design and deliver all kinds of training courses from lectures to lab exercises for the benefit of internal and external customers. Working closely with colleagues, tech experts, partners and customers, they shape curriculum content to suit diverse needs. Key Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with Proven Exam consultants to schedule work in support of exam workshops

  • Engage content SMEs to rapidly develop working knowledge of complex enterprise products and technologies across the full Dell EMC portfolio

  • Storyboard and prototype high-level simulator designs that align with curriculum objectives

  • Collaborate with exam consultants and field SMEs to identify topics that are well suited for assessment via simulation

  • Create product simulators to provide specific subsets of functionality to support exam objectives

  • Provide documented planning, development, and deployment processes

  • Enable content SMEs to develop and deploy part/all of exam simulators on an as-needed basis

  • Support content SMEs as they develop simulators

  • Optimize practical exam implementation model to manage demand at scale, applying automation where possible

  • Follow AGILE principals and participate in Scrum ceremonies to ensure quality and timely work

  • Work on assignments where considerable judgment and initiative are required in resolving problems and making choices, recommendations or decisions

  • Collaborate with peers, vendors, and other resources to accomplish work efficiently

  • Work on multiple projects and/or tasks with aggressive deadlines

  • Stay current in best practices, tools, and applications across learning and training industry

  • Regularly update team and management on project/activity status

Essential Requirements

  • 2+ years of relevant experience or equivalent combination of education and work experience

  • Expert-level animation development skills in Articulate 360 Storyline

  • Ability to quickly assimilate new technologies and product knowledge

  • Strong programming skills (JavaScript)

  • Familiarity with leveraging vendor SDK to compile and deploy simulations

  • Self-motivated individual willing to upskill and maintain a specialist level of technical knowledge

  • Exhibit a sense of ownership and accountability in your work

  • Demonstrates good communication skills (written and verbal)

  • Demonstrates solid business and technical acumen

  • Excellent interpersonal skills

  • Working knowledge of AGILE project management principals

  • Follow work that is guided by operational and project objectives

  • Ability to manage multiple assignments and processes

  • Routinely practices critical thinking, proactive problem-solving

  • Provide technical guidance and/or influence the work of others

Desirable Requirements

  • 5+ years of relevant experience or equivalent combination of education and work experience

  • Technical background in an Enterprise technology environment desired

  • Influences stakeholders and SMEs

  • Uses creativity in daily work

  • In-depth disciplinary knowledge; leverages business acumen and subject matter expertise

The role will facilitate implementation of the Practical Process Improvement (PPI) Business System with the Environmental and Process Monitoring business unit within the Chemical Analysis Divisions, to; enable profitable growth, intensify the customer experience and increase employee engagement. The position collaborates with key stakeholders to lead projects and kaizen events by deploying structured problem solving to improve systems and eliminate waste. What will you do? * Diplomatically cultivate an action-biased culture of continuous improvement to improve KPIs, in the areas of customer, finance, people and quality for the Materials & Minerals Business Unit. * Facilitate transformation efforts (Kaizen, VSM, 3P, Projects) to deliver Key Performance Indicator (KPI) and Profit & Loss (P&L) improvement results. * Monitor progress of improvement efforts and develop plans to address shortcomings * Measure and report on key performance indicators (leading and lagging) at site level; develop and implement effective corrective action plans in conjunction with Site and PPI managers to address any areas of concern * Collaborate with colleagues and stakeholders to execute an operational excellence plan that supports site, business unit, and Thermo Fisher Scientific strategies * Implement annual operational excellence roadmaps to drive continuous improvement * Conduct PPI leadership and employee team training * Provide 'Sensei-type' coaching to leadership, employees and representatives to develop their PPI/Lean expertise over time * Identify ways to accelerate the culture change necessary to support the PPI business system * Challenge organizational leaders as necessary to create an action-biased culture of continuous improvement and accountability to improve KPI's, including growth, productivity, inventory, and customer allegiance. How will you get here? * Bachelor's degree required.
