Prime Video is seeking a highly-intelligent and experienced public relations professional to support our rapidly growing and evolving digital video business, focusing specifically on sports. This position will be responsible for the development and execution of communications programs to generate awareness for sports programming. The successful candidate must be highly self-motivated, have extraordinary judgment, excellent communications skills, exemplary writing ability and strong project management skills. She/he should have experience working with high standards under tight deadlines and be flexible to manage ambiguity as priorities change.
Work to devise and execute publicity campaigns for sports programming and Prime Video Channels.
Pitch stories to all external media outlets, including traditional print reporters, electronic media and mainstream online outlets. Build and maintain strong relationships with relevant media
Understand media desires and exercise judgment in deciding which opportunities to pursue, ensuring that Prime Video objectives are met.
Collaborate with internal stakeholders and external partners to drive successful sports PR programs
Provide strategic communications counsel to business leaders and develop and drive a thought leadership program.
Keep current on trends, issues and news about both the business and consumer worlds of sports, media and entertainment.
Write press releases and other publicity materials
