Role Summary:

  • Responsible for developing, documenting, implementing and auditing PQT operation processes.

  • Responsible continuous software and process improvement.

  • Point of Contact for operations service provider.

Role Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement processes in the PQT operations department

  • Perform training on process standards and new processes for employees and service provider personnel

  • Create and maintain training documents

  • Identify problems, initiate corrective actions, and lead the problem resolution process.

  • Point of Contact for service provider

  • Develop and document repair procedures and validate repair information.

  • Lead software development and maintenance proccess; point of contact for software developer to perform maintenance and improvements

  • Coordinate a team of employees as required during peak workload times under the direction of the Manager.

  • Prioritizes rework and testing procedures

  • Serve as the back-up for the PQT Manager as liaison for the factories and VWGoA.

  • Maintains stop order inspection and rework data for all vehicles affected by stop orders; reports all data as requested

  • Communicates problems and solutions to VWGoA/VWAG Quality departments

  • Organizes task force teams as needed

Years of Experience:

  • 2-4 years of Automotive experience

Education:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Automotive Technology or related field - required

  • Master's Degree in Engineering, Automotive Technology or related field - desired

Skills:

  • Analytical and conceptual thinking - using logic and reason, creative and strategic

  • Communication skills - interpersonal, presentation and written

  • Computer savvy - skilled in the use of software

  • Integration - joining people, processes or systems

  • Ability to work with computer analytical software

  • Knowledge of auditing concepts, processes and procedures applicable to the automotive industry

  • Ability to work independently, motivate others to reach peak performance, demonstrate empathy

Specialized Skills

  • Required:
  • Extensive Volkswagen and Audi product knowledge

  • Experience with VW/Audi diagnostic tools and equipment programs

  • Extensive Microsoft Excel knowledge; VBA knowledge

Specialized Skills

  • Desired:
  • German and/or Spanish language skills

  • Experience with VWGoA Software (PoC, ETKA, Business Objects, SuperTool, ElsaPro)

Work Flexibility:

  • Domestic travel required - up to 25%
  • International travel required less than 20%
