This role will act as the project-level focal point for source inspection, project budgets, and reporting, as well as function as the project-level discipline authority providing guidance and sharing information that will contribute to the regional goals of the function.
Prepare the Project Source Inspection Plan.
Manage the complete source inspection efforts for one or multiple projects.
Develop and implement the source inspection process and coordination/ execution plan.
Manage team of Source Inspection Coordinators, Agency Inspectors, and Administrative Coordinators assigned to a specific project.
Identify key inspection requirements and clarify the inspection scope at bid stage to the suppliers.
Develop TPI schedule and plan based on project requirements and number of purchase orders.
Select the qualified inspectors and facilitate issuance of assignment package to TPI coordinator.
Review supplier ITP and ensure completeness of manufacturing data records.
Coordinate with suppliers, clients and TPI for scheduling inspection visits.
Participate in kickoff meetings, lead the pre-inspection meeting and attend critical inspection stages as per approved ITP.
Participate in source inspection alignment processes with the quality management team.
Prepare look-ahead schedule and monthly project inspection reports for submission to clients.
Responsible for NCR/AOC corrective and preventive actions and maintaining NCR log.
Manage the distribution of inspection reports after review and facilitate the issuance of inspection release note after ensuring close out of NCRs and punch lists.
Manage administration of inspection resources and close out of all source inspection assignments.
Facilitate supplier performance evaluation as required.
Undertaking surveys and audits of manufacturing facilities where necessary.
Minimum of a bachelor degree and related industry experience.
Minimum 10 years of experience in inspection coordination or source inspection with an EPC company or in oil & gas.
CSQIP/AWS, ASNT Level II, NACE Level II, or API certifications preferred.
Demonstrated track record in working with and delivering multifunctional projects.
Budgeting, cost control, and spend analytics experience preferred.
Understanding of contracts, project engineering, construction, and project contracts.
Problem solving, organizational, and time management skills a must.
