Shift: To qualify for this Power Shift Program, you must be available for the following shift: 4,12-hour shifts weekly between the hours of 0600 Thursday and 0600 Monday. (Thursday, Friday, Saturday, Sunday

• Day or night shift)

Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with your fellow EMTs and management to assure top tier patient care.

• Be flexible as emergency services operate on a 24-hour clock - your work shift schedule may vary due to the nature of the business.

• Remain up to date with current standards of care, including equipment functions and uses and all certifications, licenses and registrations.

• Conduct yourself in a courteous, helpful, and professional manner when dealing with patients, co-workers, supervisors, and the public.

• Recognize and treat any medical condition with appropriate techniques, equipment, and knowledge of all State and County protocols.

• Provide top tier medical transport to medical facilities by assuming responsibilities for medical care of the patient and carrying out established policies and procedures.

• Operate and drive the ambulance in accordance with safety policies and laws, showing due regard for all applicable State and Regional Regulations (DMV & DOH)

• Maintain rig cleanliness by stocking the rigs and taking ownership of your space.

• Gather patient billing information and appropriate billing signatures.

• Prepare and submit a pre-hospital patient care report.

• Respond promptly to assignments as required by the Dispatch Center.

• Excellent verbal communication skills

• Other tasks as assigned

Qualifications:

• NJ State Certification or NREMT (minimum)

• Valid Driver's License and acceptable driving record (must have had driver's license for a minimum of 2 years)

• Valid CPR Card for the Health Care Provider

• Must be able to lift, push and pull 125 lbs. or more

• Power Shift Program ($30 per hour) We offer a Power Shift Program for EMT's where you are able to earn $30 per hour. The EMT's in the Power Shift Program must be able to perform the additional duties and meet the additional requirements to qualify and remain in the Power Shift Program.

Power Shift Program Additional Responsibilities and Qualifications:

• Must successfully complete all shifts assigned to you and your partner, without any additional stops nor delays

• Must successfully complete all IPCR's, error free, by the end of each shift

• Must successfully complete the 4 shifts per week assigned by operations

• Must successfully complete the minimum transport requirement per shift

• Must remain in good standing with DocGo

• Must ensure you are punctual and abide by all our attendance expectations, as No call/No Shows and 2 or more late clock-ins are not permitted and will result in automatic removal from the program

• Must perform additional duties outlined in the Power Shift EMT Program to stay within the program.

• Must meet all requirements outlined in the Power Shift EMT Program to stay within the program.

• Current DocGo employees must be in good standing without any corrective actions on file within the last 6 months
