As a Power Platform Architect, you will help large-scale organizations adopt Microsoft Power Platform at an enterprise level with a focus on the Microsoft Power Platform, including Power Apps, Power BI, Power Automate, Power Virtual Agents, and Dynamics 365. AIS delivers cross-cloud transformation solutions that help commercial and federal enterprises improve business results by migrating to the cloud, modernizing apps, and leveraging data.
What You'll Be Doing
Evangelize the Power Platform to internal and external audiences and work with internal AIS groups to develop sales and marketing assets.
Responsible for leading, contributing and supporting Power Platform opportunities during our pre-sales cycle as required.
Dual responsibilities, Power Platform Architect and Architect in a pre-sale capacity in addition to being responsible for Power Platform Architecture design in a client project.
Understand the Power Platform Center of Excellence (CoE) model and install, configure, and augment the CoE Starter Kit.
Work in an agile environment and provide technical leadership to the team throughout all agile ceremonies.
Serve as a lead to help guide our clients to effectively use the Microsoft Power Platform with best practices and methodologies.
Work to understand client pain points to provide multi-cloud solutions and best practices by utilizing problem-solving and decision-making skills.
Familiarity with the other Microsoft Cloud extensibility models and APIs, such as the Microsoft Graph
Experience in mentoring other developers and team members in their technical development.
Learn new technologies and know industry standards, best practices, and trends.
Location and Travel Details
This is a remote position with occasional travel (if needed).
Profile of Success
At least 2 years of experience with pre-sales efforts to contribute toward business growth.
Assist clients with all Power Platform enterprise governance and administration aspects, including DevOps.
Understand the best practices for data modeling and implement those models into applications such as Dataverse.
An understanding of development best practices and principles with programming languages inside (Liquid, Power Fx) and outside the Power Platform (JavaScript, C#).
Oversee client discovery workshops, requirements gathering, training for end users and administrators, and conceptual design and architecture development.
Proven experience designing and developing applications across the Power Platform (Canvas, Model-Driven, Portals, Power BI, Automate)
Comprehend the architectural principles of Azure and Microsoft 365 to build holistic Microsoft solutions.
Support activities in a pre-sales role by solution guidance in writing and architecting proposals supporting Power Platform opportunities.
Develop effective strategies for integrating various enterprise and project systems together including SharePoint, Power Platform, COTS, and custom developed applications
Facilitate best practices and solutions from SharePoint "out of the box" functionality
Help facilitate SharePoint & Power Platform adoption by end users and become a subject matter expert for SharePoint usability and improvements to the current application
Serve as a lead to help and guide our clients to effectively use the Microsoft SharePoint, and Power Platform with best practices and methodologies
Desirable Skills
Robotic Process Automation (RPA) experience
Significant programming experience in both traditional and front-end languages.
Familiarity with Dynamics 365.
Familiarity with Microsoft's Success by Design.
