Power Generator Technicians needed in GA, and also in other areas in the US!.
Power Generator Technician needed, with strong dealership experience.
Duties will include the installation, maintenance and troubleshooting of engine and electrical related systems, Industrial and EPG start-up of generators, transfer switches, UPS, and switchgear systems.
Responsibilities: Provide customer support for on-site facilities through technical evaluations of specific application, troubleshooting, and problem solving.
Repair and maintain reciprocal engine based power generation/Industrial Systems throughout the territory.
Provide guidance, assistance, and training to service technicians and customers as requested.
Explain and defend warranty decisions; generate and communicate service bulletins to both customers and office personnel.
Communicate cost, service and reliability issues from Field to office personnel with intent of convincing appropriate departments for cost reduction and design improvements.
Write full reports on findings from field service events, with clear, concise information.
Communicate daily clear comprehensive field reports regarding assigned units.
Represent the Power Systems group in the field.
Maintain service manuals.
Other duties as required by Coordinator(s)/Supervisor/Manager.

Requirements: High School Diploma or G.E.D.
Three (3) years of EPG field experience or accepted alternate EGSA Certification a plus Technical Degree or Certification a plus Microsoft Office Software proficiency Able to read electrical schematics and equipment mechanical drawings Experience with Diesel and Natural Gas Engines, Electrical Switchgear, Automatic Transfer Switches and Balance of Plant Equipment.
Good working knowledge of power generation components, power electronics, electronic controls, and fuel systems.
Excellence at managing Customer relationships High level of responsiveness, and a strong proactive attitude to problem solving Ability and motivation to learn quickly.
Excellent written and oral communication skills.

Field Service Representatives – Power Distribution are accountable for installation, inspection and testing, troubleshooting, and adjustment, repair or replacement of customer equipment. They provide documentation, including test reports and service summary to customers. Instruct customers and personnel on the operation and maintenance of equipment. Perform warranty work and start-up service. Construct and test circuits and equipment utilizing various tools and machines such as computers, workstations, circuit diagrams and test instruments/equipment. Provide technical support in product service, product training and applications. Analyze complex problems in equipment and machinery and interprets maintenance manuals, using knowledge of systems and electronics to isolate and correct the faults. Consult with product support and engineering personnel to determine solutions to complex problems in system operation. Report customer suggestions on product improvement and existing product designs to the appropriate technical specialist. Assist in the development of design modifications. Implement modifications and provides installation support for the modifications. Develop and implement training courseware and provide training to customers and other service representatives. Develop and maintain ongoing customer relationships with regards to all aspects of equipment repair and maintenance. Maintain service equipment, tools and documentation. MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS * Education: Completion of an electrical apprenticeship (8,000 hours) or a Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering * Experience: Military experience within the following positions: Navy Nuclear Electronic Technicians and Electrician's Mate KEY RESPONSIBILITES * Contributes to Field Services small projects coordination and execution on customer site (end of life, modernization, upgrade, etc.). * Provides support to Level 2 and Level 3 FSRs as it pertains to removal of electrical equipment. * Interprets blueprints and other service documents, including but not limited to, specifications, reporting and quality requirements. * Performs basic audits of customer's electrical systems and equipment. * Documents all required information for each site (technical report) * Communicates with Project Coordinator to ensure smooth execution. * Properly documents, labels, and returns all defective parts utilized in the repair of equipment to the designated disposal/repair location.
