Power Bi Developer

As a Power BI Report Developer, you'll be a self-starter with a passion for data, comfortable working with cross-functional teams to gather requirements, develop solutions, and maintain them in alignment with department governance standards. Your work will drive efficiencies and support key business decision-making through data-driven automation and reporting.

Key Responsibilities: • Demonstrate deep expertise in data, data models, database structures, and data behavior to design impactful reporting solutions. • Operate autonomously, making informed decisions with limited oversight. • Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather and assess requirements, then design, develop, test, deploy, and maintain sustainable reporting solutions. • Create engaging and informative dashboards and reports using Power BI, applying appropriate chart types and visualizations to clearly convey insights. • Identify and resolve performance issues in reports and dashboards by optimizing data queries, models, and refresh rates. • Adhere to team methodologies, processes, standards, and documentation requirements. • Contribute to SETF's Spark initiative by delivering innovative solutions across various technologies, recommending the best-fit tools for each project. • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Analytics, or equivalent professional experience. • 10 years of relevant experience, with SQL • Expertise in Power BI, Power BI Report Builder, Power Platform, SAS Enterprise Guide, and other BI tools to create actionable business insights. • Experience with Microsoft Power Platform tools (Power Automate, Power Apps), and SharePoint is preferred. • Strong understanding of data warehousing concepts and ETL processes. • Excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate across diverse project teams. • Highly analytical with strong problem-solving and design capabilities. • Data modeling experience and Microsoft certifications are a plus. • Familiarity with Microsoft Purview and/or Collibra is an advantage.
