Sea Mar's network of services includes more than 90 medical, dental, and behavioral health clinics and a wide variety of nutritional, social, and educational services. We are recruiting for the following position(s):
Full-time position available for the Maternity Support Services Program in Kent. This position requires flexibility, initiative and ability to manage time, resources and client caseload.
The individual in this position works closely with new parents of infants ages (two months to one year old) that have identified risk factors. Provides services to minimize the impacts associated with risk factors and to increase the familys self-sufficiency and empowerment.
Must recognize the parent as the childs first teacher and convey the importance of early interaction as the foundation of later learning.
This position involves assisting client with accessing resources such as housing, food, clothing, childcare, transportation, education, employment, medical providers, social services, interpreter services and other related health issues with the goal of maximizing the new childs health and well-being.
Qualifications and/or Education:
AA/AS/BA in Social/Human Services and two years of health and/or social services experience working with the childbearing family
Under the direction of an LICSW, follows up on clients in their homes and carries out basic teachings to ensure healthy development of family and infant, utilization of medical care and provide referrals to community resources
Must be bilingual in Spanish/English
Must have access to an insured vehicle and be able to make home visits

Job Description & Qualifications Job Summary Responsible for specialized warehouse tasks in loading, unloading, order pulling, shipping, returns, forklift, fabrication, counter, or may have a generalized role working in all departments. Major Tasks, Responsibilities and Key Accountabilities * Complete tasks such as loading, unloading, sorting, picking, stocking, staging, fabrication and transportation of goods. * Load and unload materials to and from designated storage area, such as racks, shelves, or vehicles. Stack or pile materials, such as lumber, boards, or pallets * Install protective devices, such as bracing, padding, or strapping, to prevent shifting or damage to items being transported. * Verify computations against physical count of stock. * Maintains condition of work area (i.e. free of trash, product in correct location, etc.). Follows company safety policies and procedures and encourages other associates to do the same. * Receive and fill orders or sell supplies, materials, and products to installers and subcontractors. * May drive truck to pick up incoming stock or deliver materials to designated locations or operate forklift or other machinery in order to complete tasks. * Performs other duties as assigned.
