Job Description Join Dr. Tyler Pierson and his research group as a Postdoctoral Scientist in the Cedars-Sinai Regenerative Medicine Institute The Pierson Laboratory is devoted to understanding the pathological mechanisms involved in pediatric neurogenetic disorders.

The research goal of the Pierson laboratory is to model neurogenetic disease with patient-derived induced pluripotent stem cells in order to understand the disease mechanisms associated with pediatric neurodevelopment and neurodegenerative disorders. Exploration of stem cell-based therapies for the delivery of therapeutic drugs, small molecules and proteins is another focus of our work. The Pierson Lab is also involved in confirming diagnoses in children with known, but rare, neurogenetic disorders through cellular modeling, as well as developing research to link unique neurological presentations with new genes and causes.
