OVCH provides inpatient, outpatient, and skilled nursing services for mostly primary and secondary care needs. In addition, we operate a 24-hour standby emergency department.

Responsibilities

Post Surgical RN II - Four (4) Full-Time 12-Hour Day (7am-7pm) Shift Positions Available

Position Overview:

Provides general nursing care to patients in hospital. RN II requires six (6) months of recent full-time acute care experience in an acute care hospital or the equivalent and/or has been deemed competent by the department manager. Specific task elements are generally outlined below and may be found in department task lists and competency check off lists. May perform specialized tasks as outlined in the position competency check-off and task elements.

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Current CA Registered Nurse License

  • Current Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification

  • Six (6) months of recent full-time acute care experience in an acute care hospital or the equivalent

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelors of Science Degree in Nursing (BSN)

  • Previous Med/Surg experience and six (6) months acute care experience

  • Registered Nurse-Board Certified (RN-BC)

  • Current Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) Certification

  • Knowledge of Det Norske Veritas (DNV)

"We are an AA/EEO/Veterans/Disabled Employer" Responsibilities Unit Secretary/Nurse Tech - One (1) Full-Time Day Shift Position Available Position Overview: The Secretary Technician performs the duties of both a Nurse Tech and Unit Secretary as needed in support of the department's operations. Provides safe, efficient, and therapeutic patient care services under direction of Licensed Nurse and Medical Staff. Assists with unit staffing, recording information in the medical records, and ensuring that the unit's reporting and documentation of information be completed in a professional and timely manner.
