Position Overview:

The position is responsible to present and sell eCW products and services to current clients.

Job Functions / Responsibilities:

  • Prepare action plans and schedules to identify specific targets and to project the number of contacts to be made

  • Identify sales prospects and contact these and other accounts as assigned

  • Prepare pricing proposals and sales contracts

  • Develop and maintain sales materials and current product knowledge

  • Establish and maintain current client and potential client relationships

  • Identify and resolve client concerns

  • Work with cross-functional teams on a daily basis

  • Manage account services through quality checks and other follow-up

  • Communicate new product and service opportunities, special developments, information, or feedback gathered through field activity to appropriate team within eCW

Requirements Requirements:

  • Minimum Bachelor's degree
  • 2 years of successful sales experience

  • Excellent communication skills and customer orientation

VIEW JOBS 7/20/2019 12:00:00 AM 2019-10-18T00:00 The Department of Mental Health (DMH) is seeking a qualified candidate to support the contracting and accounting needs of the Southeast Area. The incumbent functions as a Contracts Coordinator for the Area, and in this capacity works to prepare and execute standard contracts as needed for lower subsidiary services and purchase of services. The selected candidate will process various transactions in the Massachusetts accounting system MMARS, such as service contracts, leases, and amendments; our applicant will also serve as liaison to Accounts Payable staff to ensure payments to vendors are accurate. The Contracts Coordinator will maintain effective relationships with Field managers and vendors, and will assist management with their procurement of contracted services. Please note: Applicants will need access to reliable transportation as some statewide travel is required for this position. Duties and Responsibilities (these duties are a general summary and not all inclusive): * Prepares and executes standard contracts as needed for lower subsidiary services and purchase of services. * Processes various encumbrance transactions in MMARS System, such as service contracts, purchase orders and leases. * Responsible for coordinating renewal of service contracts at the beginning of new fiscal year by reviewing contract documents submitted by vendors; contacting vendors as needed to request submission of outstanding renewal documents; ensuring all information is accurate and budgets are in place for the coming fiscal year. * Maintains procurement files for Area service to ensure that proper procedures have been followed, such as: obtaining quotes, using Master Agreements as necessary, and the submission of all appropriate documentation required. * Communicates with appropriate staff in assigned DMH Areas to ensure service requests are processed in a timely manner once all required documentation is received within a five (5) day turnaround. * Reconciles service request accountant information to MMARS account status to assure that encumbrances align properly with available funding. * Provides technical assistance to Department and vendor staff to ensure compliance with established reporting requirements, as well as OSC and OSD rules and regulations. * Oversees the daily business functions and needs for the Area and works with identified staff to resolve any issues. * Provides timely information and customer service to a variety of DMH staff and vendors for assigned DMH Units; assists in resolution of problems by researching and working with staff to determine appropriate courses of action. * Utilizes MMARS system to monitor encumbrance activity on a daily basis by logging into the system and checking the Document Catalog for any held or rejected documents so that no documents remain unprocessed; maintains up-to-date logs and reports. * Provides back-up for entering POS contracts into EIM. * Communicates any changes in process or procedures to the affected staff. * Attends Area meetings as required, as well as any trainings as required by HRD, DMH and/or supervisor. * Directs and completes special projects when necessary. Required Qualifications: * Ability to analyze and determine the applicability of data, to draw conclusions and make appropriate recommendations. * Capacity to understand, explain and apply the laws, rules, regulations, policies, procedures, specifications, standards, and guidelines governing assigned unit activities. * Experience gathering information by examining records, documents and questioning individuals. Preferred Qualifications: * Working knowledge of MMARS, COMMBUYS and the regulations of the Office of the State Comptroller and the Operational Services Division. * Aptitude to interpret documents such as contracts and leases, and use data to provide appropriate recommendations in a timely manner. * Solid verbal and written communication skills, and proficiency establishing and maintaining harmonious working relationships with others employees, vendors, and the public. * Detail-oriented, with the ability to draft accurate reports, charts, and graphs to support assigned staff. * Proficient usage of Microsoft Office products including Excel, PowerPoint, Word, and Outlook. * Given the population served, bilingual or multilingual fluency.
