Job Description:

Cell & Cancer Biology postdoctoral position responsible for cancer research, specifically in studying the oncogenic function role of TAZ on breast cancer tumorigenesis and metastasis, involving the use of cell based and animal models.

Minimum Qualifications:

Ph.D. in Cancer Biology, Health Sciences or other related fields, required

Hand on experience with animal studies, required.

Practical familiarity with standard cell culture, molecular techniques and instrumentation utilized in a cancer research laboratory, required.

Self motivated to carry out research projects and pursue career development, required.

Willingness to write a postdoctoral fellowship, required.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English, required.

Ability to work cooperatively with a multidisciplinary research team, required.

Ability to perform experiments with initiative and independence, under general guidance from the PI, required.

Preferred Qualifications:

Hands on experience with molecular and cell biology, with bioinformatics training, preferred.
