Job Summary
Post-Doctoral positions are temporarily funded and enables an individual with their Ph.D. to continue their training as a researcher and gain skills and experience that will prepare them for their research career in academia or elsewhere. As a postdoc, the position can perform mostly independent research, collaborate on a multi-scholar research initiative, or even may have lead responsibility for discrete components of a larger research project or program, all while under the general direction of a senior or principal researcher.
Post docs disseminate and publish their research results in peer-reviewed journals, reports, meetings, workshops, and conferences. Post docs also train/teach undergraduate and/or graduate students.
Post-doc opening in the broad area of wireless communications and information theory, with a particular interest in applications of machine learning in communications; spectrum sharing/coexistence; and joint communications and sensing. The position will be in Dr. Vahid's lab at RIT and will be funded through multiple National Science Foundation and Industry grants.
