About the Job

Job Duties/Responsibilities:

Maintain cell lines, develop novel differentiation protocols in iPSC cells in a 3D bioprinting format, develop organ-on-a-chip platforms, animal surgeries, collect data, create experimental designs

Maintain lab notebook, analyze data, supervise undergraduate interns work on related research projects

  • 10%

Grant writing

  • 20%

Qualifications

Required Qualifications:

  • PhD

  • Expertise in human stem cell culture

  • Expertise in human neural progenitor cell culture

  • Expertise in 3D bioprinting techniques

  • Experience in rodent surgery models

  • Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to work collaboratively with others

  • Excellent oral and written communication skills

  • Experience in grant writing

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with the development of animal models

  • Experience with tissue clearing

  • Experience with human neural organoid culture

  • Experience with patch clamp electrophysiology

  • Experience with statistical analysis of experimental data in R, Python and Matlab

  • Experience working with RNAseq samples/data
