POS Global Customs Analyst

Essential Job Functions:

• Research, coordinate, and provide compliance requirements for Global POS shipment shipping from Rialto.

• Attend meetings, trainings, etc. approved by the management, that relates to POS Compliance guidelines.

• Maintain database updated with compliance guidelines for their region.

• Coordinate with Customs Brokers (and Government Agency if necessary) to get verification of the compliance guidelines.

• Work with vendor for items that require testing.

• Work with getting certifications if required for the shipment.

• Provide translated labels to nationalize items when required.

• Assist in compliance queries regarding Point-of-sale items.

• Actively research and communicate changes in compliance guidelines for POS shipments.

• Coordinate POS compliance requirements with other departments.

• Prepare and be able to present information regarding with POS compliance guidelines.

• Coordinate international shipping for POS vendor drop shipment as requested by POS Procurement.

• Perform all other duties assigned by supervisor or manager.

Position Requirements:

• Proficient in Microsoft Office programs: Word, Excel, Access, Power Point, Outlook.

• Strong interpersonal and communication skills (listening, written and oral) with the ability to work effectively with a wide range of other departments.

• Extremely organized and detail-oriented

• Self-starter.

• Ability to multitask.

• Ability to handle information and to stay on task.

• Ability to work individually or in group environment.

• Quick learner who can pick up new changes with an open and flexible attitude.

• With high level of accountability and sense of urgency

• Ability to work in a fast-paced team environment and flexibility to accommodate demanding projects schedules.

• Proficient in SAP preferred.

Pay Range: $20.67/hr - $26.45/hr
