If this sounds like an environment you would be passionate to work in – apply now Responsible for leading and conducting key Portfolio, Collections, and Accounts Receivable analyses to optimize loss mitigation and revenue recovery while minimizing operational cost. Create and establish reporting for every stage of the collection process, monitoring delinquent and defaulted assets, analyzing client payment history, roll rates, and recovery rates.

This role will also work extensively with Legal, Collections and IT departments to monitor and execute collections strategies. Job Role: Work closely with Management, Legal, and Collections to develop, improve, and implement collections strategies and process improvements through data and analytics.

Own Collections and Servicing analytics projects end-to-end, working with stakeholders to scope the problem, analyze the data to get insights, and communicate results. Develop and generate collections reporting, including aging reports, past due accounts, bankruptcies, recoveries and roll rates. Assist management with development, testing and optimization of collections contact strategy.

Collaborate with developers and data engineers in designing the entire ETL pipeline, including data extraction, cleaning, and aggregation to develop a reliable data platform to support collections analytics, initiatives, and processes. Responsible for the development, testing, and implementation of multiple collections reports and dashboards using Tableau and other reporting tools. Identify and/or implement opportunities for improvements to current Collections dept. process workflows.

Serve as the liaison between Collections, IT, and Analytics to ensure flawless execution of collections strategies. Collaborate with leadership to identify opportunities for data-driven improvements and operational efficiencies across the organization (HR, customer service, etc.) Requirements: B.S. degree or higher in Data Science, Computer Science, or equivalent quantitative field 5 years of Analytical experience within Financial Services industry, with specific focus on Collections and Accounts Receivable analytics.

Demonstrate a profound understanding of various unsecured term loan products. Advanced knowledge of credit and default risk and prior experience designing frameworks to detect and monitor delinquent and at-risk assets. Experience working with cloud-based data technologies such as Snowflake or similar.

Proven ability to aggregate, extract, validate, and analyze large datasets using complex SQL queries. Hands-on experience building and publishing customized and interactive dashboards within Tableau. Advanced level of MS Excel skills, including advanced formulas, VBA, macros and data tables.

Working knowledge or experience in data collection, transformation, and storage from various sources including relational databases, APIs, logs, and unstructured files. Passionate about solving problems with data and high level of intellectual curiosity. Highly motivated to work on multiple projects in parallel and team player with a startup spirit.

Very strong written and oral communication skills, with proven ability to translate complex analysis into actionable insights to a non-technical audience.
