In this role, you will perform economic, market and investment research and assess each clients unique financial picture to develop portfolios that meet their financial gain and cash needs.

The ideal candidate is capable of analyzing the markets financial data, has excellent communication and presentation skills, and has an understanding of various investment options within portfolio management. Requirements and Responsibilities of Portfolio Manager Work with planning team to determine a strategy consistent with investment documents to achieve client's financial plan investment objectives and risk level Responsible for building allocations, rebalancing, managing, evaluating, and monitoring investment portfolios Analyze investments and investment strategies to ensure the success of portfolios Make recommendations around a variety of investment opportunities Manage and analyze investment returns by sub-manager and understand strategy changes Create reports on investment performance and activity Gather investment research to maintain an in-depth understanding of market conditions, trends and overall economic outlook Develop relationships to create a strong client bond Communicate with clients on market conditions, account status, and available options including General Quarterly Commentaries Qualifications Undergraduates degree in business, finance, investment, or a related field is preferred Previous experience as a Portfolio Manager or in a similar position Understanding of financial markets, investment strategies, and risk management Ability to provide reliable, data-based financial advice Ability to explain complex financial information in simple terms Excellent communication and presentation skills A Series 63 or 65 license A CFA or CFP is a plus. Job Description Portfolio manager is primarily responsible for creating and managing investment allocations for advisor clients.

Portfolio manager works with individuals and families, with some attention on institutional or corporate investors. Portfolio manager will work with a team to determine a strategy for investment, dictated by investment documents, to achieve client's financial plan investment objectives. Portfolio manager has to oversee sub-managers as well as in some cases buy, sell, and rebalance securities in an investor's household portfolio to maintain a specific investment strategy or objective over time.
