Portfolio Manager I
About the role:
The Portfolio Manager acts as a critical member of the Peripheral Interventions Pogram Management Office (PMO) leadership team to lead portfolio management activities across the divisional new product development product portfolio
We are looking for someone who can help bridge the gap between strategy and execution, identify/track key performance indicators, and utilize this performance data to help make better decisions across the portfolio.
We are looking for someone who can enhance our resource management, budget management, timeline management, and project performance management systems to help us manage our new poroduct development portfolio more effeciently.

Your responsibilities include:
Act as liaison between product development project leaders, the project management office (PMO), and executive leadership to monitor and report on overall performance of new product development portfolio across key performance metrics.
Lead annual operating plan and quarterly portfolio budgeting cycles, with visibility/accountability to functional and executive leadership.
Subject matter expert for resource, budget, project performance databases. Train project managers to independently manage their projects within the system.
Maintain key project information within the PMO systems such as Nexus and PMO Portal. Report performance to project contracts through monthly reports.
Act as liaison between project leaders and functional managers to enable resource allocation/charging to projects as needed
Monthly/Quarterly reporting of results and metrics, and continued refinement and improvement of metrics for tracking of project/portfolio performance
Participate in quarterly / annual strategic planning process.
What we're looking for:
Bachelor's degree, preferably in Project Management, Finance/Business, or Engineering
3-5 years professional work experience, preferably in Project Management / PMO
Experience using budgeting and resource allocation systems and databases
Demonstrated data analysis/reporting, and problem-solving skills
Excellent interpersonal, communication and presentation skills
Proficient in standard office software: Excel, Word, PowerPoint
Possess a strong work ethic with a commitment to continuous improvement and drive to exceed expectations
3+ years of experience in the Medical Device or other project focused environment
Demonstrated experience in portfolio, resource, and budget management
Data analytics experience and the ability to modify existing database code is a strong plus
