Position Summary:
Manages all aspects of a portfolio of commercial customer relationships as assigned by management. Responsibilities include performing various credit reviews within deadlines and cross selling new products and services to customers in the portfolio. Works with assigned commercial customers in handling the credit administrative aspects of their respective portfolios allowing Relationship Managers more time to focus on business development efforts and new client acquisition. This position has limited business development requirements other than responding to the needs of existing customers and referrals from management.
Duties & Responsibilities:
- Responsible for managing a large portfolio of loans, meeting deadlines for the accurate completion of line renewals, term credit reviews, risk rating change reviews, and new loan requests.
- Become an active part of the relationship "team" working closely with Relationship Managers, the client, and the client's professional advisors in analyzing information related to performance, responding to loan requests, monitoring relationships for compliance with terms and conditions of the loan agreement.
- Maintains familiarity with all credits in assigned portfolio, and is actively involved with servicing issues with clients; interacts with the Credit Department, Loan Accounting and Deposit Operations as needed.
- Works closely with commercial customers to obtain financials, borrowing base certificates, covenant compliance certificates, past due loan payments, etc.
- Performs credit underwriting and analysis of new and existing loans, in connection with renewals and modifications. Work must be prepared accurately and timely.

Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
- Must be results oriented, service focused and able to work independently.
- Must be proficient in credit analysis, spreading and analyzing financial statements, understanding loan documentation, etc. Formal credit training preferred.
- Must have a working knowledge of commercial lending. Three-plus years' experience preferred.
- Must have adequate familiarity with MS Word and Excel.
