Brief Position Description

The Portfolio Manager Associate is responsible for account consistency and flawless trade order delivery. A key member of the Portfolio Overlay team, this position works with the Senior Portfolio Manager to ensure accurate and error-free trading transactions on accounts. The position provides expertise when generating holdings reports, creating trades and processing trade instructions in accounts as well as finding and researching any outliers.

Core Responsibilities

  • Review and monitor assigned accounts daily.

  • Help to ensure the continuous and accurate flow of trade-orders.

  • Responsible for performing account analysis by generating reports to help identify and resolve dispersion within accounts

  • Help to investigate and work with Portfolio Administration Team, from a Portfolio Management perspective, to resolve trading issues.

  • Verify previous account issues are resolved.

  • Independently create and review complex analyses of accounts.

  • Accurately create, execute and review trades, according to instructions and departmental trading procedures, for execution.

  • Accurately report account holdings in various formats.

  • Perform or assist with performing any needed daily account maintenance on accounts.

  • Maintain accurate records and files of trading activity, critical reports and supporting documents.

  • Query and update database information, for specific investment related account information.

Responsibilities include monitoring the performance of a domestic discretionary or non-discretionary, advisory product, which may include managing a product within the brokerage or institutional offering. Responsibilities include working with more senior Product Specialists in developing product plans, strategies and enhancements, and performing data collection and coordination activities.

The office location could be in either Wayne, PA or Newtown, PA Starting salary for this position will range from $67,100 to $110,000 based on qualifications and experience. POSITION SUMMARY Under general direction, this position's primary responsibilities include all aspects of portfolio management as relates to assigned portfolio loans together with the cross selling of Bank products and services. Additional responsibilities will include the preparation of comprehensive Loan Offering Analyses that evaluate the prospective financing properties, incorporating complex underwriting to include cash flow analysis, project economics and valuation, guarantor analysis, market analysis and recommendation. The loan analyses include both commercial loan and commercial permanent owner occupied mortgages or commercial construction and commercial permanent mortgages. This position is considered the more experienced job in the job family. MAJOR JOB RESPONSIBILITIES Performs portfolio management responsibilities including: * Solicits existing portfolio customers in an effort to increase and retain loan volume and cross sell Bank products and services. * Transaction negotiation and preparation of Loan Offering Analysis of existing loans in connection with renewals and modifications and new business transactions; facilitates closing of the transaction. * Performs continued Delinquency Control. * Prepares annual reviews of existing loans to access credit quality and covenant compliance; performs property inspections. * Promotes customer relations. 60% Prepares Loan Offering Analyses, which include the following: * Detailed property descriptions and market analysis. * Detailed analysis of financial statements. * Project economics, income and expense analysis, tenancy analysis, and property valuations and discounted cash flow models. * Construction budget analysis with determination of sources and uses of funds. * Borrower and Guarantor analysis. * Assess lending risks, clearly identify offsetting mitigates and summarize recommendations. 35% Complete special projects as directed by the department head. 5% SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES None SKILLS AND TRAINING Comprehensive financial analysis experience. Comprehensive loan analysis experience in respective discipline. Strong verb and written communicative and analytical skills. Proficient with software programs (Microsoft Word, Excel & Argus), financial analysis programs and discounted cash flow models. Strong customer services skills. EDUCATION Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or Business Administration. WORK EXPERIENCE 5 or more years related within financial industry.
