Portfolio Management Specialist II - Melville, Long Island

In this position, you will be responsible for administration of specific portfolio activities including titling of motor vehicles, tracking of off-lease vehicles, general reporting and other Asset & Portfolio Management duties.

Primary responsibilities include:

  • Generate a monthly 90 day missing title report for distribution and follow-up with Lessors and other Clients

  • Index and identify motor vehicle titles with account numbers upon receipt and enter titles into the system

  • Follow up with Lessors for missing titles both via email and phone

  • Provide copies of titles and ELT receipts to Lessors upon request

  • Monitor the Indirect Vehicle accounts to be placed in Off-Lease and works with the Lessors to rectify

  • Maintain title status comments in the system

  • Provide portfolio reporting to SF AM Management as necessary

  • Provide support to the Asset Management team as needed and cross trains where applicable

Qualifications:

  • Minimum 2 years of prior banking/finance experience in the financial services and/or insurance industries preferred

  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED)required

  • Strongly organizational skills

  • Analytical & problem solving skills

  • Proficient in MS Office

  • Basic knowledge of title processing and customer service preferred
