The Portfolio Management Process Lead will develop and execute a Portfolio Management process across all major Product lines - Communication APIs, Unified Communications, Contact Centers - ensuring that Vonage resources are coordinated in the most effective manner in growing our business.

What you will do

Portfolio Process Management:

  • Evaluate and implement Portfolio Management processes, iterate with stakeholders to improve the process over time

  • Align and integrate the Portfolio Management processes with Enterprise Agile transformational initiatives and tools as required

  • Drive effective cross-company education and communications on the Portfolio Management process and current priorities

  • Manage a quarterly Intake process working closely with senior business operations leads, product, engineering and IT leads

  • Applying your business acumen, work with project submitters to refine their submissions to clearly frame their business value

  • Execute and manage on a day to day basis the Portfolio Management processes

Product Operations Initiatives

  • Support organizational alignment initiatives including annual budget planning, OKR definition and tracking, staffing planning

What you will Bring

  • Experience of defining and managing Enterprise portfolio management processes - preferably for a SaaS Business - across product, engineering and IT groups

  • Experience of Enterprise Agile transformations and expert level knowledge of supporting tools (Jira, Rally, Align etc.)

  • Comprehensive knowledge of the product development lifecycle and the roles of product managers, development managers and business stakeholders

  • Business acumen including experience with financial models for business cases, budgets and P&L management

  • Solid program management skills

  • Ability to:

  • Be a highly productive individual contributor - this role requires a "hands-on approach" in developing, delivering and supporting process work-products

  • Demonstrate an open-minded and pragmatic approach to effectively partner on solutions with stakeholders to address their pain points

  • Evangelize portfolio process solutions for complex process and organizational needs and iterate to gain alignment with key stakeholders

  • Articulate portfolio investment criteria to ensure only the most valuable projects are included in the review

  • Drive portfolio decision making with senior product, engineering and management staff

  • Work across all phases of the product development lifecycle in an Agile environment

What is required for application

Required:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Computer Science or related field.

  • 7+ years' experience in product or portfolio management in a high technology setting

  • Expert-level knowledge of tools supporting Enterprise Agile (Jira, Rally, Align etc.)

The Manager, Business Control & Risk Management is responsible for managing the various activities related to risk management performance within a single risk domain-Network Policy and Procedure team. The Manager will manage a team that works to identify, assess and action various risks through the assigned business line by executing a defined risk program. The Manager will oversee the evaluation of processes, review internal control/quality reports and participate in initiatives and lead opportunities for improved efficiency, effectiveness and/or Risk reduction. S/he supports and monitors business line risk and compliance with corporate policies and procedures and federal and state laws, including appraisal/appraiser related laws and regulations. Responsibilities * Assesses levels of adherence/execution and identifies risk/control improvements in areas with medium to high complexity * Participates in risk and control assessments on a regular basis to ensure segment/function meets corporate standards that specifically relate to internal operating controls * Insures compliance to Network procedure governance process including required approvals and annual review of all procedures * Defines scope and establishes team targets for project and day to day deliverables * Develops practical solutions to implement operational controls and risk management activities * Ensures the business functions have adequate processes and procedures in place to effectively monitor and manage risk * Identifies cross-segment solutions and collaborates across multiple areas to identify effective and practical controls and risk management techniques * Identifies, analyzes, monitors and minimizes business risks, and ensures proper control policies and procedures are in place * Leads and contributes to policies for developing, documenting and analyzing existing control procedures., Manages and coordinates analytical reporting needs for the business units * Monitors activities related to compliance with operational risk guidelines * Provides leadership, coaching and counseling to department members including assigning and developing department, team and individual goals and performance management * Provides thought leadership and expertise in risk management practices and subject matter knowledge At Santander, we value and respect differences in our workforce and strive to increase the diversity of our teams.
