Portfolio Management Analyst
Role Description The Portfolio Management Analyst will assist the Manager with activities related to: analyzing project resource plans to provide monthly capacity plan updates and aid department managers with identifying and resolving project resource constraints. S/he will assist the management team with communicating and planning to the organizations priorities, including anticipating risks, impacts, and constraints.

The Portfolio Management Analyst will also support the ongoing development and maintenance of processes, tools, and reporting within the area of responsibility.

This role blends skills related to project management, financial analysis, impact analysis and mitigation, and relationship management.
Key Responsibilities
1.Track new project / idea pipeline from a business analysis perspective
2.Tabulate and report on current pipeline and the demand on business analysis resources
3.Create a forecast of demand on business analysis resources over the next 3 6 months and identify constraints, risks and issues
4.Present the forecast along with possible risks and opportunities to management
5.Track and report on current business analysis resource utilization, skill / competency and also provide a forecast 3 6 months for the same
6.Represent the Business Analysis team in Intake and Demand Management meetings from a demand management perspective
7.Communicate with the Intake and Demand team and the product team the forecast and current utilization metrics
8.Define processes and develop tools to help manage optimize the business analysis resource allocation processes
Required skills:
1.Strong organization skills; keep detailed notes of meetings, keep an up-to-date to-do list, know where you need to be when
2.Strong communication skills; both written and verbal
3.Strong analytical and critical thinking skills
4.Quick learner
5.Capable of identifying impediments across teams and work collaboratively with the various areas to resolve
6.Knowledgeable in process and capacity analysis models and improvement methods
7.Good at time management
8.Attention to details
9.Team player
10. Proficient in Excel, Word and PowerPoint Relevant Experience / Qualifications 2-4 years of experience in healthcare operations Experience with large-scale expense management programs Familiar with project management methodologies Ability to work cross-functionally Communication, analytical, and collaboration skills Preferred Education and Certification B.A. in business, marketing, healthcare management or similar Certification in project management preferred
