Portfolio And Sales Manager, Asset Based Lend

SUMMARY:

• The Portfolio and Sales Manager - Asset Based Lending will be responsible for supporting an assigned ABL portfolio and work closely with the Regional Vice President and senior management to resolve risk related issues. The incumbent will independently develop and present credit documentation to senior management. In addition to the above, focus will be on excellent customer service to retain clients and find ways to grow the loan and deposit base of existing customer relationships. Will follow the underwriting, loan documentation, and closing processes in accordance with credit approval and within the Asset Based Lending policy and procedures.

Job Responsibilities:

• Portfolio Management:

• Continuously monitors and completes financial covenants, financial reporting requirements, and annual reviews.

• Prepares and presents information for regular portfolio reviews.

• Ongoing monitoring of Borrower financials and collateral while following appropriate risk management procedures.

• Proactively identifies and surfaces risks to the ABL RVP and FSVP, C&I Lending.

• Reviews field examinations performed on the portfolio and addresses any issues or concerns.

• Sales and Customer Service:

• Works to identify and execute new lending opportunities within the ABL Portfolio.

• Cross-sells bank products/services and deepens existing relationships.

• Interacts with customers to understand needs and gather necessary documentation.

• Resolves or addresses credit requests and obtains information for underwriting;

• Loan Documentation, Review, and Analysis:

• Assists the ABL RVP by completing pre-deal financial analysis / memo.

• Reviews Borrowing Base Certificate submissions and Borrower's monthly collateral reporting package.

• Executes collateral reviews, line advances, customer service needs, and builds expertise in the ABL Customer Monitoring Software.

• Reviews loan documentation to ensure compliance with approved terms and conditions.

• Performs customer financial analysis and makes recommendations to the ABL RVP and C&I Lending FSVP.

• Discusses legal documentation with ABL RVP on complex transactions.

• Maintains effective communication with Bank counsel and Loan Closing department to coordinate a smooth loan closing.

• Performs other job-related duties as may be assigned.

Job Requirements:

• Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree required.

• 10 Years work experience in the financial services industry

• Minimum of 3 years' experience in C&I or Asset Based Lending

• Credit training preferred.

• Skills in Microsoft Word & Excel.

• Collateral Management Software experience preferred.

• Analytical, organization, and interpersonal service skills.

• nCino/SalesForce experience preferred but not required.
