Overview

We're looking for a Portfolio Analytics Officer to join our growing Credit Risk team here at Univest.

Responsibilities

Coordinating the scheduling, scope selection, and completion of all internal and external Portfolio Quality Loan Review audits, including the preparation and distribution of Loan Review summary reports.

Coordinating State, Federal Reserve, Internal Audit, and External Audit logistics for all audits and exams, including assembly of all requested information, and preparation of off-site or on-site workspace and technology.

Primary responsibility for monthly Reg O monitoring, and quarterly Reg O report preparation, in compliance with Reg O Policy, and regulatory and audit requirements.

In accordance with Loan Review Policy and annual Board approved Loan Review goals and scope, administer various auditing objectives sufficient to verify portfolio quality and adherence to the established Credit Policy and processes. Auditing activities will be divided between Portfolio Quality audits and Credit Process audits.

Portfolio Quality Loan Review audits include portfolio audits (designed to assess portfolio quality of individual relationship managers, designated high-risk industry portfolios or portfolios that may be affected by adverse economic issues) and Commercial Banking Analyst Audits as directed by the Chief Risk Officer, Chief Credit Officer or Director of Credit Risk Management (designed to assess the effective of grading sheet adequacy as prepared by individual analysts).

Credit Process Audits are designed to assess the effectiveness of risk monitoring procedures, such as tracking and review of required credit data submissions, tracking of exception experience and regulatory compliance testing.

Assist in the preparation of monthly Credit Risk , Management and Board Report submissions. This includes the data gathering and compilation of information into tabular and graph formats for further analytics.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree required in finance, accounting or related discipline, with formal banking credit training or regulatory environment with extensive knowledge of commercial credit.

Minimum 15 years related credit underwriting experience with proficiency in loan documentation and securing collateral interests of the bank.

Experienced in underwriting, structuring, covenanting and risk rating commercial loan transactions.

Strong interpersonal skills, along with enhanced organizational and analytical skills required to maintain an independent viewpoint derived from fact-based analysis and patterns of performance.
