Role Description and purpose
We have an excellent career opportunity for a Portfolio Analyst on our US Equities Team in Boston. This individual will work with investment professionals on the US Equity Team to translate investment decisions into orders within the trade order management systems. The Portfolio Analyst will monitor portfolio guidelines and restrictions to ensure compliance. The individual will also prepare portfolio level reports to support portfolio construction and analysis.
Key Responsibilities:
Generate, transmit and supervise execution of transactions into the market and towards Trading Desks in a timely and accurate manner.
Monitor portfolios to ensure compliance with the investment guidelines and restrictions.
Monitor portfolio cash levels and pending corporate actions.
Prepare analysis and reporting for the portfolio managers on a diverse range of topics including, portfolio risk and construction, trade activity, sustainability, and style analysis.
Work with the Investment team on ad hoc projects that add value to the investment process.
Act as a liaison between the Investment team and key partners including the trading desk, IT vendors, and our Sustainability team.
Periodically participate with Investment team members in meetings with prospective clients and consultants.

Essential qualifications & experience:
Minimum of 5 years of experience in the Asset Management industry. Exposure to portfolio construction a plus.
Awareness, interest, and understanding of financial markets.
Highly detail-oriented, well-organized, and independent. Proven ability to manage multiple demands, prioritizing in a fast-paced work environment.
Knowledge of Factset and Aladdin preferred.
Bachelor's degree in Finance or Economics a plus.
CFA or MBA qualifications a plus.

Physical presence in BNPP AM's office(s) is an essential function of this position. This role has the flexibility of being hybrid, consisting of an in office and remote working component.
The expected starting salary range for this position in Boston is between $115,000 to $135,000 annually. Actual salary may vary based upon several factors including, but not limited to, relevant skills/experience, time in role, base salary of internal peers, prior performance, business line, and geographic/office location.
