The Team

Fidelity Charitable is looking for a Portfolio Accounting Analyst to be focused primarily on portfolio accounting and reconciliation for Fidelity Charitable's investment accounts. You will be a member of the team responsible for portfolio accounting, proxy reconciliation and audit support for Fidelity Charitable's investment accounts.

The Expertise You Have

  • Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or Finance

  • At least 2 years of experience in portfolio accounting and/or position reconciliation in the finance industry

  • Experience in the financial services industry, specifically investment accounting and/or back office, is preferred but not required

The Value You Deliver

  • Perform daily portfolio reconciliation of all accounts focusing on transaction activity, security positions, market values and cost basis while researching variances using custodial systems

  • Review share pricing data to ensure accurate pricing

  • Review accuracy of position and transactional records

  • Partner with internal business partners to research variances noted as part of daily reconciliations

  • Support the analysis and production of annual financial statements

  • Communicate on project milestones, risks, issues and general status to all levels within the team

  • Responsible for recognizing potential areas of risk and presenting solutions to appropriate team members

  • Focuses on operational processes and assist with documentation of changes to improve process

  • Implementation of daily proxy reconciliation process, including processing paper ballots

Job Overview/Summary Looking for a Portfolio Analyst reporting to Sr. Manager of IT Portfolio Management & Process Compliance. This team is responsible for all aspects of internal IT Demand Management and is responsible for ensuring the strategic and tactical alignment of the IT portfolio with cross-functional IT leadership. Functions as the conduit through which IT priorities and needs are communicated and incorporated within the overall IT & PMO portfolio plans. Portfolio Management & Process Compliance is also responsible for the capacity management and resource allocation for the Clorox IT Project Portfolio and is responsible for process compliance and issue & escalation management throughout IT. Key Responsibilities The position of IT Portfolio Analyst will: * Work with leadership and collaborate with diverse teams across the IT organization to maintain the overall IT Portfolio Plans * Create and manage detailed action plans that support the TBO strategic initiatives as well as what IT is expected to deliver. Ensures data quality and accuracy for the PPM system. * Sign off on Charter Readiness ahead of Portfolio Council and Decision meetings, working with cross functional teams to prepare/ensure Readiness. * Accountable for preparing and reporting high quality metrics and standards through all aspects of Portfolio and Capacity Management for the Clorox IT Project Portfolio. * Work with Project Managers to ensure schedules are running on time, assess Changes required and process through PPM tool. Manage competing projects and deadlines to deliver results on schedule * In conjunction with Process Owners, responsible for the development, implementation and ownership of global processes, governance, and policies to establish full accountability and sustainability across the entire IT Org * Supports a robust process governance structure that covers every aspect (including data and metrics) of the deployed processes across all IT functions. * Provides status updates on area responsibilities and identifies risks and issues with assigned projects including any required escalations to resolve issues and/or mitigate risks * Works closely with the Resource Manager and support team to coordinate changes and assess impacts to schedule and capacity * Identify internal IT process improvements and propose solutions, roll out changes Key Skills, Abilities and Experience Required * Good interpersonal skills; ability to work independently as well as part of a team * Excellent verbal and written communication skills * Leverages functional/technical expertise to get results * Capability of giving attention to detail while still understanding and dealing with the global aspects of Portfolio Compliance * Highly effective influence skills resulting in a trusted advisor relationship within IT * Process development, documentation, and implementation. * Leverage interpersonal relationship strengths to manage disputes and drive change in vendor behaviors, and create a working environment where vendors receive incentives to change behaviors and meet performance goals. * Analyze and evaluate change to drive continuous improvement in the process of driving on time delivery of portfolio benefits * CAPM, PMP, LSS Certification is preferred * Business Intelligence experience is preferred Required Education Bachelor's Degree, College Diploma, or Equivalent More about Information Technology (IT) We are critical players in putting the consumer experience at the center of everything we do at Clorox.
