The Porter is responsible for maintaining the business office, models, clubhouses, and public and common areas of the property in a neat, clean, and attractive condition.
Holds responsibility for the general cleaning of the units to include the appliances, bathrooms, vacuuming, mopping floors, dusting, cleaning counter tops, and all other cleaning services deemed appropriate.
Performs all work necessary to make the units/rooms ready for occupancy.
Handles all cleaning equipment/furnishings and tools including but not limited to hand tools, paint equipment, ladders, cleaning equipment such as carpet cleaning equipment, blowers and hoses.
Makes note of any equipment which might need repair prior to occupancy.
Maintains an excellent relationship with the residents.
Provides cleaning services in a safe and efficient manner in compliance with the Loss Prevention Program.
Education and Experience -- A high school diploma or equivalent and one year of related work experience or training is required.
Physical and Environmental -- The ability to see, hear, speak, comprehend, and communicate are required. The position may require the ability to physically inspect the properties, construction projects, and portfolio, plus the Porter must possess any abilities and skills required to carry out the responsibilities outlined above, even if not specifically mentioned herein.
