PORTER - BEVERAGE (PT) JOB SUMMARY:

Provide sanitation and deep cleaning of entire bar area. Ensure a clutter free clean environment for our guest's, maintain our 4-Diamond cleanliness standards.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Clean hoods and filters.

  • Sweep and mop floors.

  • Wash floor mats and carpets.

  • Sanitize all shelves.

  • Clean floor drains, ice storage area & counter tops.

  • Clean light fixtures, exhaust vents, and walls.

  • Performs other job duties as assigned.

Requirements:

QUALIFICATIONS:

To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill and/or ability required.

Must be able to stand and lift up to 25 pounds consistently throughout an 8-hour shift. Must be able to multitask in a fast paced team environment.

Must be comfortable in communicating with all guests and other Team Members. Knowledge in the proper use of cleaning chemicals. Ability to develop and maintain a pleasant and effective working relationship with co-workers. Must be 21 years of age to work in the Beverage Department.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:

High School Diploma or GED required. Must have at least one (1) year of experience in a customer service environment. Previous experience in a Food & Beverage environment is preferred.

LICENSES, CERTIFICATES, REGISTRATIONS:

Valid driver's license. Ability to obtain NIGC gaming license. County Food Handler's card is required.

LANGUAGE SKILLS

Must have the ability to communicate effectively with coworkers and guests.

REASONING ABILITY:

Must be able to prioritize multiple tasks within a fast-paced work environment.

Must apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written and oral form.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS:

The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. While performing duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to sit, use hands to handle or feel, and talk or hear.

The employee is occasionally required to stand, walk, reach with hands and arms, and stoop or crouch. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.

WORK ENVIRONMENT:

Work predominately takes place in a casino environment. Noise levels are loud. Work involves frequent exposure to extreme heat and cold, cooking fumes and odors and is located within a smoking building.

WORKING HOURS:

Working hours may include scheduled shifts Monday through Sunday. Normal work schedules may vary based on business needs.

Position may require availability for evenings, weekends, holidays and special events. Workweeks are typically Full-Time 40 hours. Position may require overtime.
