Manage and align the Global Medical Water portfolio marketing organization by focusing on the following functions:
1.Strategic Marketing (Brand Marketing).
2.Product Management (Franchise Management).
3.Marketing Communications (Demand Generation).
4.Training (Internal & External-Monetized).
Role and Duties:
1.Strategic Marketing (Brand Marketing) (30%)
Participate in the annual strategic plan update and Drive strategy into action & profitable sales growth of the Healthcare Water portfolio globally by executing on the 2 core strategic initiatives, Clinical Leader and Partner to Protect & generally own the performance & profitability of the business. Network with global KOLs, authorities and guideline makers and partner with companies synergistic to Water Hygiene. Execute New Product Development (NPD) consisting of the following:
Drive the Problem to Portfolio (P2P) process per strategic initiatives and outcomes.
Participate in PPG meetings.
Create NPD Growth Room to track NPD projects and success.
Follow individual NPD project through Action Plans to ensure OTD of projects.
Continuously evaluate NPD for cost targets and market pricing.
Ensure regulatory compliance for all NPD projects.
2.Product Management (Franchise Management) (30%)
Ownership and optimization of the water portfolio sales and profitability. Plan, prioritise and monitor the Global Water Marketing Budget. Provide a market analysis for both Healthcare (Regulated) and Non-Healthcare (non-regulated) markets. Lead internal Medical Cross Functional Water Meetings reporting regularly on business development. Project manage development teams using Accolade etc. as appropriate.
Provide value proposition and regulatory positioning. Review and define the product management process including lifecycle management following procedures within Lotus Notes and other databases for new product introduction, product exit, Literature cards database, etc. Work closely with manufacturing and operations to identify opportunities and/or gaps for the portfolio.
3.Marketing Communications (Demand Generation) (20%)
Ensure correct sales channel is chosen, trained and monitored to ensure maximum sales. Manage the creation of promotional material globally & catalyze congresses/seminars and Direct Marketing activities. Work with Marketing Communications to assure web site content development. Work with Transformative Marketing team to drive leads and content for MQL for the portfolio of products.
4.Training (Internal & External-monetized) (20%)
Liaising, training, guiding & serving responsible Water Specialists and sales teams globally for promotion, positioning, crisp
Basic Qualifications/ Experience:
Degree in a science and business subject.
Post graduate (PhD, MBA) qualification preferable.
Marketing experience preferable.
Ability to motivate, communicate and influence.
Excellent and proven scientific writing skills.
Excellent and proven presentation skills.
Proven successful Product launch.
Proven skills in Business Development.
Capability to work on multiple projects and to tight deadlines.
Knowledge of Microsoft packages, Accolade preferable.
Strong practical knowledge of in premise water systems and ability to support water hygiene solutions.
Ability to work individually or as part of a larger team.
Excellent communication skills in English (both written and verbal).
Efficient working in X-functional teams.
Good skills to communicate with all customer levels and especially with high level scientific KOL's.
Open to all cultures globally and ability to adapt to local rules and behaviours.
Computer literacy in Microsoft Office programs is essential.
