Ranked among the best resorts in Texas: Top 5 Resorts in the Southwest Conde Nast Traveler and Top 5 Resorts in Texas Travel + Leisure World's Best Awards 2023Responsibilities * Maintain regular attendance in compliance with Omni standards, as required by scheduling, which will vary according to the needs of the Club. * Maintain high standards of personal appearance and grooming, which include wearing the proper attire/uniform and name tag when working. * Provide outstanding service to members and guests in a friendly and professional manner, following proper steps of service. * Mix drinks for servers and members and guests according to standard recipes. * Maintain familiarity with the wine list, the stemware and appropriate garnishes used. * Follow procedures as outlined in employee manual and bartender's manual. Jigger pour, making drinks for servers only when rung in on Micros. * Keep bar stocked and clean. Follow side work sheet. * Monitor inventory. * Ensure the consistency in the presentation and recipes of all cocktails. * Be familiar with and enforce all policies related to TABC laws. * Be familiar with all Club amenities and activities. * Maintain cleanliness of the entire bar area at all times. * Assist in the orientation and training of new associates. * Participate in associate meetings and trainings. * Perform any other duties as assigned by the restaurant manager.Qualifications * Must have and maintain current Texas Food Handlers and TABC certifications.* 2 years bartending experience required. Prior server experience preferred. * Extensive wine liquor and beer knowledge required. * Ability to clearly and pleasantly communicate both verbally and in writing in English with guests, members, management and co-workers, both in person and by telephone. * Ability to stand for 8-10 hour shift. * Ability to lift minimum of 50 lbs. * Must be able to withstand exposure to weather conditions. * Must be able to work in a fast paced environment and multi task. * Must be able to work flexible shifts including nights, weekends, and holidays.*
