Polysomnographic Technician, Registered

SUMMARY: Administers therapy and treatments, performs sleep apnea studies and scores, performs EKG.

Administers gases, teaches patients, documents care and adheres to patient care protocols.# Supports Neurology with EEG#s including periodic weekend call. Required Experience: Recent experience in the sleep lab, performing patient hook-up, performing full sleep studies with and without CPAP/BiPAP, and scoring of sleep studies Required Licensure/Certification/Registration: Registered Polysomnographic Technologist (RPSGT); BLS Preferred Education/Training:#Graduate of an accredited Respiratory school; sleep lab/polysomnography program or neurodiagnostics training
