Polysomnographic Technician - Registered

A Registered Polysomnographic Technician performs comprehensive polysomnographic testing and analysis, and associated interventions under the general supervision of the clinical director#or designee.# A Registered Polysomnographic Technician can provide supervision to Polysomnographic Trainee and/or Polysomnographic Tech.# Completed or currently enrolled in polysomnographic program with less than one (1) year till completion. A minimum of 6 months of experience as a Polysomnographic Trainee with documented proficiency in all required competencies or RRT with 1 year experience in sleep studies.# Current AHA BLS certification.# Registered with the Board of Registered Polysomnographic Technologists (RPSGT) by BRBT or obtained within one (1) year of hire.

Must demonstrate effective written and spoken communication skills, appropriate social skills, and the ability to follow directions.
