We want you on our team...Clark Regional Medical Center located in Winchester, an 18 minute drive from Lexington, KY is searching for an Sleep Technologist (Polysomnographic Technologist) to join our Sleep Lab. This is a PRN, variable shift position providing comprehensive evaluations and treatments of sleep disorders under the general supervision including in and out of center sleep testing, diagnostic and therapeutic interventions, comprehensive patient care and direct education.

Essential functions of position include, but are not limited to:
Performs plan of care intervention, including medication administration, specimen collection, clinical treatments, as well as other medical care treatment
Collect, analyze and integrate patient information in order to identify and meet the patient-specific needs (physical/mental limitations, current emotional/physiological status regarding the testing procedure, pertinent medical/social history).
Determine final testing parameters/procedures in conjunction with the ordering physician or clinical director and laboratory protocols.
Review the patient's history and verify the medical order
Follow sleep center protocols related to the sleep study
Maintain storage areas with required supply levels and equipment
Disassembles, cleans, and sterilizes equipment, and performs preventative maintenance and calibration of machines.
Requires critical thinking skills, decisive judgment and the ability to work with minimal supervision. Must be able to work in a stressful environment and take appropriate action
Bachelor's Degree, preferred
Graduate of program of discipline, required
Basic Life Support (BLS), required
Registered Polysomnographic Technologist (RPSGT)
Certified Polysomnographic Technologist (CPSGT)
