Primary Job Responsibilities:
Functions as a policy analyst by reviewing, drafting and producing rigorous, empirically-based policies and procedures that have been thoroughly researched to the policy making audience.
Summarizes legislative rules which impact program outcomes when applicable.
Designs, analyzes, interprets, and develops policy documentation, requirements, and specifications.
Serves as a resource expert for external customers utilizing expertise to research and resolve issues in a timely manner and customers' satisfaction.
Researches and produces ad-hoc narrative reports and option papers with minimal turn-around time and with a high level of accuracy.
Partners with clinical teams in reviewing requirements, specifications, and support to ensure they are in line with policy objectives.
Reviews documentation created by staff for accuracy related to policy
Performs detailed analysis and provides findings to the customer
Advises customers regarding potential challenges in implementation of policy
Perform thorough quality assurance and quality control reviews of documents and deliverables using prescribed checklists
Assists with writing and formatting policy and project documentation.
Assists with the preparation of training materials and performs training for staff and customers.
Provides recommendations and materials for customers related to national outreach and education.
Understands 508 compliance and applies principles to written documents to be posted to the web.

Ability to coordinate multiple tasks, ensuring accuracy and attention to detail, and timely responses to customer inquiries

WHAT YOU'LL NEED:
Bachelor's Degree (B.A.) from an accredited college or university in related field
3-5 years of relevant experience
Proficiency in MS Office Suite, Adobe and SharePoint
Expert-level proficiency in formatting MS Word, MS PowerPoint, MS Excel, and PDF documents

The likely salary range for this position is $65,714 - $109,742, this is not, however, a guarantee of compensation or salary; rather, salary will be set based on experience, geographic location and possibly contractual requirements and could fall outside of this range.
