Job Responsibilities and Requirements
The Policy Administrator will manage the data entry of all sold new business in the necessary RSL (Reliance Standard Life) systems. They will be responsible for developing relationships with the Implementation Specialist to obtain all information to ensure a new policy is set up and upload of census data is accurately entered.
Responsibilities
Performs all task related to the submission data entry of ALL new sold lines of business in all RSL systems.
Review sold case paperwork to ensure that the necessary documents are provided in order to enter data into system.
If necessary, final rate any plan design and/or census changes at submission.
Handle and manage the census upload for all new sold business for any list billed customer.
Confirm all information entered is accurate and fed to other RSL systems.
Communicate with internal partners of status updates or delays on new submitted lines of business.
Responsible for the written notification to implementation team upon completion of new lines in systems.
Collaborate with internal sales partners and account management for policy maintenance on amendments.
Participate in periodic field testing as required by IS projects to ensure data integrity and system effectiveness.
Review system and census uploads to ensure accuracy of data.
For assigned cases, manage workflow process and inventory handle policy maintenance inclusive of contract amendments, customer & policy maintenance, broker of record changes, terminations as needed in internal systems.
Required Knowledge, Skills, Abilities and/or Related Experience
1 year of group insurance and/or system administration experience required.
Ability to multitask and work independently with limited supervision
Must be able to meet standardized productivity metrics/goals
Ability to think through scenarios and use critical thinking skills to work through challenges
Expertise in using basic Microsoft Office applications, including Excel and Word
Ability to become proficient on all RSL relevant internal RSL applications (PACS, Salesforce, Vue, Salesxpress, STACs, EAS etc.)
Ability to Travel: None
Work location may be flexible if approved by the Company.
