Police Officer

The Big Lake Police Department is accepting applications for the position of a Full-time Police Officer. We are seeking experienced and entry-level law enforcement candidates to join our department. The City of Big Lake supports its law enforcement community! We are seeking candidates who are dedicated and strive to provide exceptional public safety services to our wonderful community!

Lateral Candidates:

3+ years of law enforcement experience eligible up to $47.46/hr. at the time of hire.

Field Training may be adjusted for experienced candidates.

Employer paid benefits for new entry and lateral candidates.

Minimum requirements:

MN POST Board license or eligible to be licensed by April 1, 2025; possess a two-year degree in Law Enforcement, Criminal Justice, or related field, and have a valid MN Class D driver's license.

Pay Rate: $37.47 - $47.46/hr. (2025 LELS Contract)
