GS-06: Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-05 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: responding to calls for police assistance and emergency help, enforcing traffic laws and issuing citations for violations such as speeding: conducting traffic stops and vehicle searches, subduing and restraining individuals, assisting accident victims by providing first aid, and writing reports of incident.

GS-07: Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-06 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: maintaining order and protecting life and property: responding to emergency calls: complaints and other calls for service during the watch; subduing and disarming those who are doing violence to other persons; conducting investigative stops; gathering and analyzing facts; seizing and protecting evidence; interviewing witnesses and taking statements; conducting preliminary investigations; advising violators of rights; processing accident scene; determining whether facts warrant apprehension/detention or lesser action, and presenting evidence in court.

Creditable specialized experience may have been gained in work on a police force; through service as a military police officer; in work providing visitor protection and law enforcement in parks, forests, or other natural resource or recreational environments; in performing criminal investigative duties; or in other work that provided the required knowledge and skills.


This position has promotion potential to the GS-07 grade. If selected below the full performance level, you may be non-competitively promoted to the next higher grade level after meeting all regulatory requirements, and upon the recommendation of management. Promotion is neither implied nor guaranteed.

You must be able to use all police equipment, certify in the use of radar detection and alcohol detection equipment, field sobriety tests, expandable or collapsible baton, and obtain other certifications required to accomplish the duties of a law enforcement officer.

This position requires rotating shift work.

Call back and emergency overtime are regular requirements of this position. You may be subject to interruptions from meals or other breaks while on duty

Evaluates level of compliance with state/federal regulations, company policies and investor guidelines. Assists Corporate QC Manager in maintaining an up to date QC program. This is a Corporate Position, which can be located in any available bank division location across our eight state footprint in AZ, CO, ID, MT, NV, UT, WA, or WY. DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: * Complete Quality control reviews on a sample of QC vendor reviewed files using software system and QC procedures as part of the vendor due diligence. Assist with necessary evaluation of the vendor's quality of work. Maintain relationship with third party vendor conducting Quality Control reviews or audits of the QC program. * Issue timely and accurate reports to the GBCI Compliance Committee and Management. * Clearly explain and communicate results, findings and recommendations to Division Management. Finalize the responses with the Divisions. * All reviews and supporting documentation will be maintained in the designated folder on the compliance drive and within the SecondLook Software at all times. * Develop and maintain an effective working relationship with all Division and Corporate management and personnel by checking in regularly to make yourself available, attend relevant meetings and determine needed feedback and training. Assist in the flow of information to the Division to ensure communications (i.e. new procedures, policies, forms, etc.) from GBCI are received and understood. Escalate findings or issues when needed to GBCI Management when updated or new processes are needed to prevent future findings. * When requested, serve on committees or special task groups for new regulatory, program or procedural changes. * Assist with pre-funding reviews and QC manual updates as needed. * Coordinates with divisions on loan selection to provide appropriate files to third party QC vendor. Coordinates with vendor on obtaining findings and sending those results to the Bank Divisions. * Must comply with all company policies and procedures and all applicable laws and regulations, including but not limited to, the Bank Secrecy Act, the Patriot Act, and the Office of Foreign Assets Control. Must complete the assigned online training courses and achieve a passing score by due date. About You QUALIFICATIONS: Minimum of five years of mortgage lending, quality control and/or lending compliance experience is required. Experience with loan underwriting or working with underwriting standards is preferred. Experience with one of the following systems is preferred: Encompass, SecondLook QC Software, and/or and/ or Microsoft Suite including Microsoft Excel EDUCATION/CERTIFICATIONS/LICENSES: A Bachelor's degree in a related field. Equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered. Must attain a professional designation such as Certified Regulatory Compliance Manager (CRCM) or Certified Community Bank Compliance Officer (CCBCO) within 12 months of hire.
