. Schedule:

• Part-Time

• Hours: 8 AM to 12 PM, Monday through Friday

• Duration: July 1, 2024 through July 19, 2024

. Position Available: July 1, 2024 . Position Description: Internship - Ferguson Police Academy The Police Intern will work under direct supervision and will be responsible for attending three weeks of scenario-based training. The training will cover various topics related to criminal investigations, collecting evidence, apprehending offenders, rendering emergency first-aid, responding to critical incidents, and de-escalation techniques. The Police Intern will work closely with experienced police officers and will have the opportunity to gain practical experience in law enforcement.

Essential Functions:

• Attending all three weeks of scenario-based training sessions with a maximum of one excused absence.

• Actively participating in scenario-based simulations.

• Working effectively in a team under supervision.

• Maintaining a professional demeanor at all times.
