We are seeking a PAD Outreach Specialist to join our team at our program in the Philadelphia, PA - Kensington location.
THIS POSTING IS FOR 1ST SHIFT WITH WEEKENDS (MONDAY - FRIDAY 7AM - 3PM AND POSSIBLE WEEKENDS).
Earn $19.89/hr.!
Position Details
The Outreach Specialist in the PAD program will work collaboratively with the Philadelphia Police Department and various other City agencies.
The position will also include but is not limited to:
Dispatch for various quality-of-life emergency calls (i.e. possible overdose, welfare checks, disorderly conduct, etc.) or other non-violent low-level mental health or behavioral health calls.
Perform basic referral functions (complete shelter referral, call to obtain an outpatient appointment).
Collect relevant information.
Transport individuals following the completion of a diversion.

The ideal candidate will possess the following qualifications:
A High School diploma or general education degree (GED) with at least two years of behavioral health experience and experience working with the homeless, those with substance use disorders, or Domestic Violence survivors is required.
A valid and active driver's license is required.
Proficient computer skills to perform job duties including but not limited to desktop computing, email, timesheet management, and electronic health records, using Microsoft Office and Google Applications, and other relevant software.
Must have knowledge and an understanding of recovery principles and recovery-driven service systems.
Knowledge and experience working within the Philadelphia forensic system preferred.
Peer Specialist Certification (CPS) Preferred.
Bilingual preferred.
