What would I be doing?

Under general supervision, responsible for promoting outstanding guest relations, an entertaining and energetic atmosphere while accurately dealing Poker.

Responsibilities

Deliver internal and external guest service by ensuring every interaction includes our Six Core Service Standards (Look Sharp, smile & greet the guest. Be friendly, polite & use courteous language. Provide especially timely & knowledgeable service; and then some! Always find solutions to guests' problems. Use the guest's name when appropriate. Thank the guest and invite him or her back.).

Provide prompt, accurate, and courteous service to players, utilizing the highest degree of technical skill in dealing while adhering to established standard policies and procedures.

Explain aspects of various poker games to gaming patrons.

Check to ensure that all players have placed bets before play begins.

Exchange paper currency for playing clips.

Process all cash and maintains proper handling and accounting for assigned property items.

Reports any unusual situations to poker supervisor.

What are we looking for?

  • Must be able to obtain a valid gaming license

  • Must be 21 years of age

  • Previous poker dealing experience and/or recognized equivalent training

  • Must be willing to be interviewed and auditioned

These skills and abilities are typically acquired through at least 1 year experience directly related to the accountabilities specified.

Gaming License Information:

You may be required to hold a gaming or non-gaming license with one or more regulatory agencies. As part of the licensing application process you will be required to fully disclose some or all of the following information related to your personal history and background, including supporting documentation. We understand this can be cumbersome, but thank you in advance for taking the time to go through this process.

Gaming regulators will only issue a gaming license based on the following:

  • No pending or active criminal charges

  • No felony convictions within the last 10 years; No misdemeanor convictions in the past 5 years

  • No convictions related to theft, fraud, illegal gambling or violence (includes misdemeanors)

  • Felony convictions beyond 10 years are reviewed on a case by case basis (some states) taking into account the gravity of offense, timing of conviction and job position and role with the company

  • Student loans must not be in default status

Fees are roughly $250 for the license, notary work and fingerprinting costs. These fees will be due in advance if selected for the role.

DESCRIPTION: The Service Technician is responsible for servicing and repairing Caterpillar heavy equipment in our shop. JOB DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES may include, but are not limited to: * Must be capable of removal and installation of components by following the appropriate service manual. * Understand and utilize various exchange items offered by Caterpillar and evaluate price of exchange vs. cost of repair. * Safely and properly operate and inspect machines, vehicles, and/or engines to diagnose defects. * Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair all component of equipment including but not limited to engines, power trains, hydraulics, fuel systems, power generation, and electrical codes. * Formally document the work done on the equipment via computer utilizing Caterpillar specific service report software. * Complete work assignments and assigned training within allotted time and secure and maintain appropriate licensing. * Maintain good work habits and positively promote Caterpillar and Louisiana Cat and will comply with all safety and company regulations. * Perform other duties as requested by management. REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Associate's degree or equivalent from a two-year College or technical school preferred. Qualified applicants will have experience in trouble-shooting and repairing diesel-powered heavy equipment. Prior experience with Caterpillar equipment is preferred. The candidate must have basic computer skills. Be able to navigate a computer to open programs and type information into Caterpillar specific software. Must comply with all safety and company regulations. Maintains good work habits and presents a favorable business image towards customers served by the company. LANGUAGE SKILLS Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos. Ability to write simple correspondence. Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients, and other employees of the organization. MATHEMATICAL SKILLS Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent and to draw and interpret bar graphs. REASONING ABILITY Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions. Ability to deal with problems involving a few concrete variables in standardized situations.
