Job Summary

The School of Nursing and Health Science seeks dynamic Nursing Clinical Instructional Assistants to provide teaching and evaluations for small groups of nursing students in practice settings and simulated settings.

Responsibilities

Responsibilities -

  • Make clinical student assignments.

  • Supervises clinical/laboratory practice experiences.

  • Evaluates clinical written assignments.

  • Evaluates student clinical performance and accomplishment of clinical objectives.

  • Adhere to Department of Nursing guidelines/protocols (medication, communications, clinical responsibilities, uniforms, etc.)

  • Attendance at scheduled Level meetings as needed.

  • Must be able to travel.

  • Performs related work as required.

Required Qualifications

Educational Requirements

  • Current RN license in Georgia.

  • Baccalaureate degree in Nursing.

Other Required Qualifications

  • Current health care provider CPR certification and immunizations.

  • Must possess a current valid driver license with acceptable driving record and pass a yearly Motor Vehicle Report review.

Required Experience

  • More than 1 years recent clinical experience in nursing.

Preferred Qualifications

Preferred Educational Qualifications

  • Masters degree in Nursing

Proposed Salary

$ 40.00 per hour with Baccalaureate degree.

$ 45.00 per hour with Masters degree.
