Position Description
POSITION OVERVIEW:
The Senior Applications Analyst will be the primary contact for the Harris County Engineering Department (HCED) to maintain system level configuration and will be responsible for the support of both internal and external users. The Senior Applications Analyst will be required to be highly responsive and able to prioritize end user needs in the best interest of HCED. The Senior Applications Analyst will liaise with e-Builder and end users to implement any required account level modifications, which could include modifications of data fields, reports, dashboards, changes to processes, forms and templates. The Senior Applications Analyst will assist HCED with project initiation through closeout and provide relevant assistance and resources to project managers, and any additional duties as necessary.
JOB DUTIES:
Maintaining and supporting the Harris County Engineering Program Management Information System (PMIS).
Work on the assigned support requests captured in the tracking system.
Follow up with users on support calls for more clarification and resolve the system issue.
Revise and update system training materials and guidelines documentation.
Taking ownership of system issues and seeing problems through to resolution.
Providing technical support to users.
Creating new projects in the system.
Developing or modifying standard reports in the system and implementing process changes.
Providing support and delivering training to internal and external users.
All other duties and responsibilities as assigned.

General Information
Position Type, and Typical Hours of Work:
Full-Time | Regular | 40 hours per week.
Hybrid schedule: Three days in the office and two days working from home.
Subject to early mornings, late evenings, weekends and holidays at times, depending upon the project or workload.

Most assignments will be performed in an office, meeting, or operations command center environment, but some field work may be required. May be required to work extended work hours during activation of disaster recovery operations for an unspecified length of time (varies based on the extent of the event).
This position requires bending, stooping, and lifting up to 25 lbs., frequent walking, standing, sitting, reaching, and ascending/descending stairs.
