PMC Product Manager

Job Summary:

Seeking candidates who have enthusiasm and knowledge of investment products, product management, and investment product marketing. Must be able to meet quarterly deadlines for various deliverables.

Job Responsibilities:

• Define, implement, and execute on medium to longer term projects that will advance PMC Product goals. These projects include:

• Consolidation of the PMC fund strategist portfolio product suites

• Developing the process chain for new PMC product launches

• Research, design and define opportunities for new PMC products based on industry research and analysis.

• Launching of the PMC Active Passive ETF product suites and transition of our legacy PMC mutual fund portfolios.

• Oversee production process for marketing materials and value-added pieces for various PMC offerings: Tax Overlay, Impact, PMC portfolio management solutions, new PMC ETFs, retirement portfolios solutions.

• Train and develop junior team members on the team (Associate Product Management Specialists) to accomplish routine deliverables needed by the PMC Product team, including factsheet production, PMC Research Analyst Alerts, and answering RFIs and RFPs

• Oversee all short to medium term projects as defined by the head of PMC product management. These projects will require internal coordination with sales, operations, technology, marketing, billing compliance and other PMC teams as a PMC product subject matter expert.

• Support and execute on new initiatives that develop within PMC Product, including overseeing of the PMC Pricing Committee, and implementing new product workflows and deliverables.

• Adherence to and application of Envestnet legal, compliance, risk, business continuity and administrative policy within the role and department(s) including the timely completion of training & awareness, affirmations and testing as requested.

• As part of the responsibilities for this role, you will understand and readily support Envestnet's established corporate business practices, policies, internal controls and procedures designed to create value or minimize risk.

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience preferred. Four to seven years investment industry experience preferred. Product management experience valued.

• Knowledge of investment management products and marketing desired. Experience with investment management product marketing preferred.

• Knowledge of the Envestnet platform, its various teams, areas of influence and related functional areas is required. Must be able to build relationships with these teams to accomplish PMC product objectives.

• Must have working knowledge of the financial markets, including wrap products, equities, fixed income, mutual funds, and ETFs.

• Become a subject matter expert for all PMC Solutions products and other offerings.

• Researching investment product performance drivers and portfolio positioning will be a job requirement. Familiarity and comfort creating deadline-oriented investment management commentary required.

• Must possess strong attention to detail and demonstrate the ability to work under pressure.

• Work as a member of a team with collaborative decision making.

• Demonstrate ability to troubleshoot client questions and handle multiple tasks.

• Working toward or planning to study for the CFA, Master's in finance, or MBA would be a plus.

• Oversee teams to implement ad hoc, daily, and quarterly deliverables that PMC Product is responsible for.

• Experience with marketing and design software will be helpful.

• Job requirements involve working with Morningstar Direct. Experience with the software highly desired.

• Proficient with Excel, Microsoft Word, and PowerPoint.

Salary:

The annual base salary range for this position is $68,000 to $102,000.
