New River Community College (NRCC) is a comprehensive community college located in the New River Valley of Virginia. New River Community College seeks a part-time instructor to provide training in plumbing and core/craft skills.

Special Assignments

May be required to perform other duties as assigned. May be required to assist the agency or state government generally in the event of an emergency declaration by the Governor.

KSA's/Required Qualifications

Work experience in one or more of the following:

  • Must posses or be willing to obtain a trainer certification through National Center for Construction Education and Research (NCCER).

  • Demonstrated effective communication in teaching/learning situations.

  • Fairness and flexibility in understanding and working with a wide variety of students.

  • Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a collaborative manner in a team-oriented environment.
