The salary range for our Plumber is between $60,000 - $100,000 annually. A Day in the Life of a Licensed Plumber

Our Plumber position is responsible for the prompt performance of assigned plumbing and related duties including the installation, repair and/or maintenance of pipes, sinks, traps, washbowls, toilet fittings, drains, etc. You must ensure quality workmanship and high work standards conforming at all times to the published plumbing codes and our company's standards and pricing all while extending exceptional customer service.

What you Need to be Qualified for the Licensed Plumber Position

  • High school diploma/GED

  • 3 years successful experience in the plumbing industry

  • Superior troubleshooting and repair skills

  • Self-starter with ability to work with little supervision

  • Customer-service oriented

  • Excellent communication skills

  • Clean driving record

  • Familiar with standard concepts, practices, and procedures for plumbing

  • Georgia Plumbing License preferred

VIEW JOBS 3/4/2019 12:00:00 AM 2019-06-02T00:00 The Detailer reports to the CAD Manager and is responsible for the preparation of CAD drawings to be used for installations, fabrication and project closeouts. The mechanical detailer also coordinates with partition plans, reflected ceiling plans and other trades to minimize jobsite conflicts. Initiative, decisiveness, tact, integrity, judgment, and technical knowledge are essential to achieving departmental and corporate goals. Job related contact can occur virtually with all demographic groups, with most daily contacts being with MAXAIR, Inc. employees and departmental customers. Essential Functions Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions. * Work with project managers or project superintendents and foremen to develop shop drawings for sheet metal/plumbing installations. * Coordinate installation with other trades. * Support workflow of foreman and project managers. * Work from schematic sketches to produce plan drawings. * Organize and file project drawings. * Maintain company drawings and standards. * Interact with clients in on-line coordination meetings and on-site with Project Managers. * Represent MAXAIR from a coordination standpoint in all internal and external meetings. * Assist the CAD Manager with the coordination of projects. Competencies * Basic computer proficiency. * AUTOCAD proficiency. * REVIT proficiency. BIM coordination experience is a plus. * 5 years' minimum experience with mechanical systems and sheet metal or plumbing installations. Other mechanical experience a plus. * Hands-On construction experience a plus * Fabrication experience a plus. * Ability to work on multiple projects and deadlines. * Checks own work and maintains high level of detail. Supervisory Responsibility * This position has no supervisory responsibilities. Work Environment * This job operates in a professional office environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets and fax machines. Physical Demands * The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. * While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk or hear. The employee frequently is required to stand; walk; use hands to finger, handle or feel; and reach with hands and arms. The employee may occasionally lift 10 pounds. Position Type/Expected Hours of Work * This is a full-time position, and hours of work and days are Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5 p.m. The detailer is expected to work out of the MAXAIR office.
